Here are a few very easy and cheap recipes for homemade cleaners to get you started:
Bench tops:
-use 50:50 solution of vinegar and water in a spray bottle and sprinkle some baking soda on a damp cloth. Wipe surface to clean.
Dishwashers:
-put some bicarb of soda in the soap dispenser and run the wash cycle. This will clean your dishwasher and can also be used for dish washing instead of powder
Pots and pans:
-boil some bicarb of soda with some water on the stove to loosen stubborn cooked on grime (avoid using bicarb in coated caste iron dishes)
Stove top:
-Make a thick paste using bicarb and water and scrub over cooked on grime using a stainless steel wool scourer (Much better then Jif!)
