This week we finally got around to planting our summer vegetable patch, after pulling out our productive winter crop of broad beans and silver beet (to name a few).
This week we planted:
-Tomato
-Zucchini (two varieties)
-Cucumber (by seed)
-Climbing beans (by seed)
-Capsicum
-Eggplant
-Rocket
-Lettuce
-Celery (I got a few extra plants from a friend)
We also pulled out some of our not so thriving plants in our front garden and replaced them with a row of blueberries!
We recently put in a passion fruit vine too! Its amazing how much you can fit in a small garden!
We are loving out strawberry patches at the moment too. We get about a handful a day. Its probably my favorite plant to have growing with little kids! My son gets so much enjoyment out of them!
What is going in your summer vege patch?
